RAYG, the Radically Anointed Youth Group is the Teen Ministry of Right Direction Christian Center located in Columbia, SC. RAYG was the brainchild of Dr. Herbert Bailey. Remembering his own days as a teen in his local church, Dr. Bailey knew that most churches did not have programs tailored toward the young people (teens). 

This gave the teens the impression that the things of God were for the older people in church. Determined to let the teens of Right Direction Christian Center know that Godly things are for everyone and not just the older crowd in church, Dr. Bailey formed the church's youth program. The first meeting of RDCC's youth group took place in the summer of 1998, with Dr. Bailey and five of the church's teens in attendence. Since that first meeting the group has blossomed and became RAYG. 

In the Fall of 2000, Dr. Bailey appointed Dwayne & Denise White to serve as the youth pastors of the group. Under their leadership the youth group has grown from 8 teen to approximently 150 teens. With a corps of youth counselors and youth on fire for Christ, RAYG is poised to prepare the youth in our church to become leaders with a heart for Christ.
